Join us for a parent workshop led by Kira Farman, MS, CCC-SLP, speech therapist at Kid PT. In this interactive session, you'll learn how communication develops in autism and what you can do to support your child — whether they communicate with speech, pictures, devices, or a combination.
This workshop will give you clear, actionable tools to help your child connect, share, and thrive in their own way.
Kira Farman is a speech-language pathologist with over 16 years of experience working with children in clinic, school, and home settings. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from SUNY Binghamton and her Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University, where she also received certification in Early Intervention.
Kira has been recognized as a New Jersey Favorite Kids' Doc for her dedication to children and families. She is trained in PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) for speech sound disorders and in the Sequential Oral-Sensory (SOS) Approach for pediatric feeding. Kira follows a child-led approach that makes therapy fun, engaging, and tailored to each child's needs.
Outside of work, Kira loves spending time with her husband and their three daughters, and brings her passion for family connection into the care she provides for children and their families.
